SeaCheetah’s WIGE vessels combine the best of air and sea travel, operating just meters above water to achieve speeds exceeding 135 knots (250 km/h / 155 mph) while delivering three times the payload capacity of traditional aircraft and boats. Classified as marine vessels, these crafts avoid the high regulatory costs associated with aviation, providing a cost-effective, fuel-efficient alternative for coastal and island logistics.
SeaCheetah and H3 Dynamics: Advancing Hydrogen Propulsion
SeaCheetah is working with H3 Dynamics, a global hydrogen aviation leader, to integrate hydrogen-electric propulsion systems into its vessels. Under the leadership of CEO Taras Wankewycz, H3 Dynamics has developed distributed hydrogen-electric propulsion pods and aerospace-certified 400 kW fuel cells, positioning them at the forefront of the hydrogen revolution.
Through this partnership, SeaCheetah’s vessels will utilize H3 Dynamics’ H2Hub™ and H2Hub Micro™ hydrogen production systems, ensuring rapid, on-site fuel generation without reliance on external supply chains. This model mirrors hydrogen aviation infrastructure, reinforcing hydrogen as a practical, scalable solution across multiple industries.
